1. About this consent
By registering for and taking part in the Viswa Santhi Virat Parayanam (the "Event"), you agree to the terms on this page. Please read them before you register. Taking part is free and voluntary.
2. Participation
- I am registering to chant Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam together with other devotees worldwide at the appointed time.
- I will keep my camera and microphone on and chant sincerely throughout the chanting.
- I understand that my attendance may be reviewed and verified by the organisers and their partners.
- I confirm that the information I provide at registration is accurate.
3. Photo, video & audio consent
I consent to my image, video and audio being recorded during the Event, and to their use for:
- verification of participation and record-keeping;
- event documentation and archives;
- publicity, promotion and sharing by the organisers and their official partners, including on websites and social media.
Recordings are stored securely and handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
4. Participants under 18 (minors)
If the participant is under 18 years of age (or a minor in their local jurisdiction), a parent or legal guardian must read these terms and give consent on the participant's behalf at registration, including consent to photo, video and audio recording and its use.
At registration, a minor's parent or guardian provides their name, relationship, email and mobile number, and confirms their consent. Without this, the minor's participation cannot be accepted.
5. Data & privacy
- We collect only what is needed to run the Event: your name, email, mobile number, country and time zone, and your participation recording.
- Your mobile number may be used to send you event updates and to recover your account.
- Your details are not sold. They are shared only with official partners involved in running and verifying the Event.
- You may contact us to ask about or request deletion of your data after the Event, subject to record-keeping needs.
6. Certificates
Taking part is free. If certificates of participation are offered, the organisers will share the details. A certificate never changes whether your participation is counted.
